Has anyone ordered a "09" Mini Cooper recently?

If you have just want to know the specifics and how long it should take to receive it. Ordered about 3 weeks ago and the ETA is about the end of Nov........

I actually just got an automatic '08 base cooper.  ordered it January 2nd and got it February 15th.  i've got close to 4000 miles on it and i love it.  I have had several problems with it however, and I will be up front about them:

- windows sometimes stick and won't lower or go up once they're down

- sunroof stops working if the car is left in the sun

- the on board computer has acted up a couple times (the best example i can give is when i just filled my car up and it said i had no fuel and was averaging 50 mpg, then i turned it off and turned it back on and it said i had a full tank and was averaging 14 mpg.  i started driving, mpg went up to 40, then down to a more realistic 27)

I'm averaging about 25 mpg in the city (I live in LA so it's a lot of stop and go so it wastes the gas) but i get upwards of 40 mpg on the freeway when i'm going 70, it drops to about 35 when i'm going 80.

It's my first brand new car (I've owned two pre-owned Toyota Rav4's before this) and I LOVE IT!!!  Problems and all, it could c**p out on me today and i would still love it.  Once you get behind the wheel, you'll know exactly what I mean.  The pur of the engine, the ride comfort and cool looks... man, I keep getting looks and people stopping me all the time, asking me about my car.  Makes me feel so superior, ha ha!  :-D

Have Just Got Mine Waited Three Months. Mini Have Just Laid Of Staff At The Factory To Save Costs, So The Waiting Time Will Be Longer Now.

Worth Waiting For Yes,Though To Lay Off Loyal Staff Is A Disgrace And BMW Should Hang Their Heads In Shame.

It may very well be at least a 3 month wait. I ordered my 08 on June 02, and it was here around the 16th of July. It was about a 6 week wait. My dealer is now having trouble getting cars. It is unreal how all the sudden these cars have taken off. I think you will be pleased with your purchase. I opted for a nonturbo automatic oxygen blue hardtop. I have only 500 miles, so it is not broke in yet. I hope you get your car sooner than November. I know that dealers are having to wait to place orders. I know the ride across the Atlantic is longer than the build time.  Good luck on getting your car and enjoy it.
