Has anyone ordered ink refills from canada-ink.com?

I am trying to replace toner in my Samsung CLP300 printer. I bought the printer on sale but failed to price the replacement toner cartridges. I am curious if anyone has ordered online from canada-ink.com, they have the replacements at about 1/2 the cost of anywhere else I have found.

OR

Does any one know if you can refill these cartridges? I think there is a place locally that does refills but I haven't been able to contact them.

THANKS!

  1. You cant refill them because they have chips which register when they're empty. If you refill, the chip still thinks its empty. If you order from  canada-ink, make sure the chips are included. Some companies expect you to remove the chips from the old set and attach it to the new one and then when they don't work, it becomes your problem. You can get the toners with chips right here in the US for $70 a set of 4 at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp  They have been in business at least 10 years since I've been using their ink cartridges that long.

  2. You cannot refill them, they are toner cartirdges.

You will be happy to know that although it does sting to replace them all they are rated to print 1000 pages each.   So in all fairness it isn't that bad.

The cartridges in the samsung brand, in Canada should cost anywhere from $50-$60 each.

I have never purchased from canada ink, however be advised that they are a compatible cartridge.  Although Compatible cartridges can be a great way to save you a pile of money, not all are created equally.   You will want to make sure you are satisfied with their return policy and that they make it easy for you to be in touch if by chance you do encounter a problem.
