Just today my mom's workplace had a huge donation party. I hear it was awesome. They raised about 4,000. People cooked, brought items, and made crafts/jewelry and sold them. I wish I was there. I love jewelry. My mom donated $50 and my dad donated $30.

What about you guys?

Are you kind enough?

(If not, look at some of the devastating pictures).

  1. I did

  2. yes i will donate asmuch i dont need to helpp them. im trying to asked people for helphow, adress for the red cross already. my school is starting a funding like 2 days ago  and already raised about 5,000  dollars for the quake in china and the cyclone in burma. seriously i dislike the peolple who say such comments to people  in need: "so?!" "who cares about their f*c*ing ***, its their problem. they got cheap buildings!" those comments pisses me off, they need help people!sheesh...

  3. it's not a question of kindness

it is a question of money between medical bills and other things donate to I have none

  4. I am sorry I agree w turdferg.

  5. I so totaly would but  a i didnt hear about the donation thingie and b im onley 11 so i cant

  6. I did.The company I work for now matches dollar for dollar.I did it through Red Cross.

  7. No.

I completely agree with turdferguson. And I'm sick of people shoving their donation speech in my face (because I'm asian and assume I should donate?) and making people feel guilty about not donating anything.

  8. I want to but I just can't figure out what charity to pick.  Probably going to choose the Red Cross.  I also want to donate to the Myanmar/ Burma people too.  It is so unfortunate that this has happened to them.  I can't imagine what they are going through right now.  I'm not rich but I figure I should send them something.  I think I can donate $50 to each of them instead of spending it on a pair of shoes or something for myself.   And our money will go so much farther there then here.

  9. I am a foreigner in China, Guangzhou. There was a charity held in my complex and they got 100 000 US Dollars. Our international school (Utahloy International School) earner more than 15 000 US Dollars. My family donated around $1000.

It is amazing to see the Chinese care so much about the earthquake. Generally Chinese don't care about any of the other Chinese and now they are donate a lot of time and money to help people from another state.

The truth is China can fully support their selves because they are already so rich, but the survivors need clothes and food which is being donated here in China.

I suggest you donate to the victims in the Myanmar Cyclone. They are in desperate need for help where as the Chinese can pay for themselves.

And my friend visited the disaster zone and is telling the children how the world is helping them and (translated) they said, "We appreciate all the help from everyone in the world, if i had even a little money, i would provide it to every other less fortunate person in the world."

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED ANYTHING!

  10. Thank you, little girl,!Thank your parent, Thank all americans who   had made donations for China.

We are have the same homestead--earth!

the people from all over the world should to help each other.

During 2006 American flood, China had donated $5.1 million cash and some goods to American.

Indeed, American is rich enough, They are not lack of money. China's donations not only means money, But also means a solicitude to American.

    Chinese love peace, American so.

  11. No, I will never donate to ANY relief fund.  First, the true amount NEVER gets to those who need it most, secondly, how much did China donate to Katrina victims?

  12. As I consider, everyone should give those who lose family to become homeless specially for kids and also get terribly hurt in this awful earthquake big help as much as we can do . Beside, I would like to claim that this is not about politic c**p and something involved into government policy between nation and nation. This is about innocent people who are not related to any national problem and don't even know what's going on around world die from incredible painful. This is a also about showing the fact that no matter which country you are from, we are all together solidly when something bad happen. Pleasee, before you make yourself an comment , checking what on earth happened to them in china and meanwhile thinking about it.
