Has anyone out there ever won an item on Ebay and not pay for it?

I made a stupid mistake and bid on two of the same item, I won both and now I'm wondering what will happen to my Ebay account if I don't pay for one of them? Will I be banned? If I am, can I just create another account?

If you just ignore the seller of the item you decide to not pay for, they will likely report you for non-payment. If this is the first time you have reneged on a purchase you will not be suspended, but you will receive a warning and probably a negative feedback. What you should do is contact the seller and explain what happened. Please understand that it costs a seller money to list their items and they will be charged a percentage of the sale price, as well. If you at least offer to cover the seller's costs, since you admit making a mistake, that should resolve the situation.

In the event your account is suspended, you would not be allowed to create another account under your name and information until any outstanding problems are resolved.

well i know you will be reported but im not sure what that means

but why dont you just pay for both and resell one.

its better then getting negative feedback and going through all that.

im sure its somewhere one ebay about not paying

look under there rules and that stuff
