Has anyone out there received a check from a company called Dewitt franshices monitoring and research group?

they say it's for research and I'm supposed to go spend so much at a store and so much at a hotel... anyone heared of them?

Its a scam company. They give you a pittance and they name the store and hotel you go to. Then you  end up spending a lot more than they gave you. Don't fall for it.
