Has anyone out there tried .223 sabots in a 7.62x39 case?

I'm trying to find out if the accuracy of these rounds would rival a .556 NATO. Also, I know you can't fire them through a muzzle break--does that include flash-hiders? Let me know.

  2. It is extremely fast. However there are some accuracy problems due to the twist difference in barrel but they are reasonably accurate in an accurate rifle of any type. I have personally killed a coyote at 300 yds  out of a 30-30. I have  fired them in .30-30 and .30-06. but they are a neat round good luck.

  3. if you can  hit the same spot more than once or even once,

repost and let us know .  have you ever heard of a 22-250

  4. here's a good site ! And ooops another top contributor with the wrong answer. I think remington has been making the accelerator round since the early 80s

  5. No, I haven't done that because it's not a good idea. Get a Ruger model 77 .223. Mine does 1/2 inch groups at 100 yards with most ammo. I sometimes get 1/4 inch groups with my best reloads. Put a scope on it that goes up to at least 18 power if you want good accuracy. The scope on mine goes up  to 32 power. You can't hit what you can't see...
