Has anyone out there written fan mail to Christian Bale and gotten any sort of response?

I am thinking about sending him mail requesting an autograph.

I will include return envelope, stamps, picture, blah blah But i am wondering if it will be worth it at all.

Any other Baleheads out there who have had any luck?

I haven't, I was planning on doing that though! I know someone who did and did get a reply with a signed autograph, but there are many others that haven't, if you ask for a signed autograph then you are probably likely to get a reply, but I think most of the time it can just be their publicist replying, but Im sure its definitely worth the try!

I don't think he replies to fan mail regularly (maybe not at all), there are no responses recorded on http://www.fanmail.biz though some people in the forums claimed they got replies a few years ago.

But you can try if you want to just give it a go. It's pretty cheap to give it a go, just don't send a picture you can't afford to lose.
