  1. i havent personally but my fiancee has....he said it was awesome fun but shi_t scary also...not sure what time of the year it is

  2. I haven't run myself, but I have gone...It's a blast!!

However, if you ARE going to run, please DO NOT stay up all night partying!  The locals who run go to bed early and are up early since the run begins at 8am.

Those who are there to watch & party usually are up at 10pm for dinner, 11pm fireworks, stay up all night to be able to get a good spot around 7 or so to watch the run. Shortly after 8 (the run only lasts a few minutes) it's home to sleep!!  Up for lunch (around 2pm) and back to bed until 10 or so...

    Enjoy!

All are welcome to run, so it shouldn't be hard to get involved.

  3. Feria de San Fermín  July 7.    Acc. Wikipedia actually starts July 6 at noon and runs through the 14th.

Is it fun?  If you like taking your life into your own hands (or more to the point, putting it in the hooves of a bunch of wild angry bulls), then it's fun.  If you would prefer watching others  put their death wishes into action, then watching it is fun.

Any festival in Spain can become little more than an orgy of drinking, dancing, and singing.  Yes, from that standpoint, it can be fun, and even if you go alone, you will probably be invited to join others in their revelry...if you go, have a blast, but beware.  Pamplona is a pretty inexpensive place most of the year, but during Sanfermines, it gets pretty much astronomical.

  4. Sure, anyone did.  In fact lots of people have.  It's in  Pamplona, Spain...I saw it on teevee so it must be true.
