Has anyone played "Small Fry" on miniclip? How do you get past the plants on level 10?

It says...."Plants will eat your small fry but there is a way to remove them. If you think about it" I cannot think how to remove the plant!!

Put skeleton through, (he does not get eaten), he opens door. Then put him back through, followed by big guy who beats the plant up while its 'eating' the skeleton.
