  1. No, what I did was just get some simple picture books with the words underneath the pic. (I started this when my daughter was around 18 months)  Also, just reading to your child daily, and showing your child words when your out with them, (grocery store, etc) works wonders.


  2. no, we haven't. My kids learned mostly from just us reading to them. the sight word books from scholastic are great! They do have leapsters and they have some wonderful games.
