Has anyone purchased Riddex Plus Pest Controller? If so, has it worked for you?

I have been in this apartment for about a year. In any apartment, It is not uncommon from time to time to have a bug issue. Then you make sure that you are keeping your place clean, the garbage placed outside every night and etc. This apartment, however, no matter what is done, the bugs seem to want to live here. The place is clean and is kept clean, no leaks, etc... A friend told me to try Riddex. She, however, lives in a house and does not have any bug issues (and no, she has not used the product). Before possibly wasting my money, I want to know if anyone has tried it and most importantly, DOES IT WORK??????
