  1. Before you purchase a bike on-line, do some research on the brand.

Are parts easily available? - should be your first concern.

Next, try to find a repair shop in your area that will fix it "when" it breaks - everything mechanical breaks at one time or another.

    Some sooner than others.

  2. i own a chinese dirt bike i ordered online... no problems so far.... although at first i was considering a 125, i went with the 200, fearing i wouldn't be happy with the power.... honestly i don't need anymore speed and power, but of course i want it... i'm sure in a few months i could easily handle a 200cc 2-stroke or 400+cc 4 stroke, what i have is more then enough to keep me happy for now.... when you really want it to get up and go, it will....i've hit atleast 60... i hit 30-35 halfway through 3rd....

pretty much every chinese bike you get has the same engine (i.e. all 125's share the same engine, all 200cc's share the same engine) etc.... there are minor diffrences between a few, but not anything major..... it's something only the hardcore people would really be paying attention to, as it makes that little of a diffrence... and if you're paying attention to those details, i doubt you'd be looking into a chinese bike anyways...

  3. I have bought a Lifan 250cc v-twin from   TMotorsports on e-bay, also a JmStar 150cc scooter an just ordered a mini atv for gran daughter. They super to deal with. Had NO trouble with THEIR China bikes.
