Has anyone purchased a scooter online?

We just ordered a scooter from an online company and it is only $1000 for a brand new 150cc scooter. It's not a brand I've heard of before, it's an Eagle brand scooter. I think they're made in China or somewhere in that area. It will be delivered to our house in a few weeks. Has anyone bought one online before? Are they crappy scooters?

Most Chinese scooter are CARP.  Most Taiwanese scooters are 2 or 3 cuts better. And the Japanese are pretty well the best in the world.  So from Japan, you take a step down, to Korea, and from Korea you take a step down and buy a Disposable scooter from China.  That is why 65million dead reliable Honda cubs have been sold all over the world.

It's why people will pay $1000 to buy an old used one today.

Where are you going to have it serviced? And will it come assembled, or do you have to assemble it yourself?

Hello, I recently brought a Roketa Bali 150cc. Scooter from scooterus.com. They are located in Connecticut. It cost 1,299.00. That included shipping to my door. I haven't had any problems...so far (knock on wood) I was a little scared to buy on-line, but the transaction went extremely well. I have no regrets at all. I love my Scooter!!! I got a great deal and the Roketa Bali 150 seems to be a great scooter. Or else I was very lucky. As for an eagle brand scooter...I have no idea.
