  1. You can purchase them from either the yellow and grey automatic ticket machines (billeteries automatiques) which have the benefit of offering English translations, or you can purchase them at the ticket office (guichet). Price depends on where you're going, your age, and the time of day at which you're travelling (whether peak or off-peak, often referred to as 'blue' or 'white' periods). For certain destinations you'll need to go into Paris and you may find that trains from Paris are cheaper than from CDG airport even though they may go to the same destination.

You may want to consider booking online via http://www.voyages-sncf.fr or through http://www.raileurope.co.uk (which is basically the same site, but all in English). If you book in advance online you can get much cheaper fares and the tickets can be picked up from the automatic ticket machines I referred to earlier by entering a reference number that's emailed to you and by inserting your card (chip cards only!)

Once you've got your tickets, don't forget to 'compost' them by inserting them into the validators before you reach the platforms, else you will be liable for a fine.

    Good luck.

FOR DISNEYLAND RESORT, there are two services - a less frequent but quicker, direct TGV (high speed train) service to Disneyland (purchase a ticket to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy from the same yellow and grey ticket machines or from ticket office) - about 15 €. You can also get the more frequent but slower RER (suburban train) but you'll need to go into central Paris (to Châtelet-Les Halles station) first then change onto RER Line B to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy (Disney's station). RER should cost you less than the TGV but is not as convenient. Hope this helps.

  2. As 'ad' said, if you mean to go to Disneyland resort directly from the airport then take the TGV. Although I have never taken it there I know it will be easy, all services are bilingual at the airport. TGVs leave from CDG 2 airport. Just follow the signs, everything is clearly posted in both English and French. Ask for a TGV ticket to Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy. It's a 10-minute ride costing 15 € to 23 € (according to the SNCF -French train company- website).

By RER: Disneyland is a 41-minute ride from Châtelet-les-Halles in Paris, which is already 35-40 minutes from the airport so going from the airport to Disneyland through Paris will take 1hr30 instead of 10 minutes by TGV but it will only cost you 8.40 € (adult fare).

There are TGVs every 20 to 80 minutes (depending on the time of the day) and RERs show up every 5 to 15 minutes. If you have a lot of luggage, then it's best to wait for a TGV. If you tell us which day you are traveling and what time you are landing (from where, and at what terminal would help too) I could give you the TGV and RER schedules.

  3. I have, but without knowing your intended destination, it's impossible to know how much it would cost. Give us the destination and we can start to help you  thanks!

  4. To get to Disneyland you need only take the RER (the local commuter train) and not the TGV (High speed intercity express trains).

Just take the RER B from CDG to Chatelet and change to the RER A which will take you to the Marne La Vallee stop. the entrance to the park is a very short walk from the station.

The ticket will cost 8.40 €
