  1. I thought that it's called "The Forgotten Garden", and that "The Secret Garden" is by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

  2. I love the Secret Garden. It's such a great story. I don't think I've heard of the second.. Maybe I should look into it.

  3. i love the secret garden!!! i have it on video.my step daughter who was 7 at the time we watched it together loves it also.and this summer i watched it several times with my younger granddaughters who are 7 and 5 years old and they love it too!!! it is a classic!

  4. I read them both, and although I liked them both I prefer 'The secret Garden'. 'The house at Riverton' is told from 'memories' of grace and I just don't like storys which are 'memorials'. I also find that the secret grace kept was that exiting at all, and in general the plot and story of 'The secret Garden' was more to my liking.

It was entertaining and had many twists and plots, also I found that descriptive writing and writing in general was nicer than the one in THaR. I am not saying that it was superior writing, I just liked it more.

So yeah, I preferd 'The secret Garden'.
