Has anyone read and also seen into the wild?

Ive seen the movie and i want to read the book, but before buying the book i want to know if its worth it at all, is the book in any way different?

and which is better the book or the movie?

The book is excellent - much much better than the movie. Definitely a good read if you enjoyed the movie.
