Melanie is in "her" closet, picking up the various things she's accumulated over the year when Andy Evans (her rapist) comes into the room, angry at her for telling Rachel that he had raped Melanie. He starts to push against her, yelling and shouting when Melanie holds up a piece of broken glass (from the mirror) to his neck and tells him to stop.

The Lacrosse team opens the door a few moments later.
