Has anyone read the 2nd book by ronald weinland about ENDTIME prophesied, what did you think, I loved it.?

I love fear mongering.  Where can I get one of these "books".

It's entertaining stuff, but this guy said that some massive event would happen on April 17, 2008.  And guess what happened that day?  Absolutely nothing!  It was a slow news day.

He also said that by the Fall of 2008 the USA would no longer exist as a country, and that there would be huge wars and all sorts of crazy things happening.

Well, other than a lot of economic uncertainty, not much has happened.  I know, I know -- there's been sabre rattling between the USA and Iran, and then there's Russia and Georgia, but how are those things different from any other time in recent memory?  18 years ago we had Gulf War One and the Balkan Serbian crisis.

I think this Weinland guy is very learned and even sincere.  But he's just plain wrong on so many things.  That makes him, in my judgment - and perhaps his own judgment - a false prophet.
