Has anyone read the book called The Crucible by Author Miller?

Question

i have a few questions over Act 1....What request did Mrs Putnam make of Tituba and why?....When John Proctor enters the scene Mercy Lewis departs and John and Abigail are are so what does their conversation reveal about their relationship? and my last question is What is Rebecca Nurse's reaction to Betty's bewitching?

Have you tried cliff notes?  I hated that book our english teacher back in high school made us read the story and watch a video version of it.

I haven't read it, but there are a number of study guides that can help you with this play and with these questions.  Most of them have quite a bit of good information.  Have a look at these sites, and you should get some help with your work.  If you do a search here in the Yahoo Answers search window you will find many other sources of help as quite a few questions have been asked here about The Crucible.

Yes I have read it. But it was the most boring book ever... I could barely get through it. Sorry I cant be of more help!

I read the book it was a long long time ago and I remeber it was really hard to get through.. but I remember Spark notes really helped me get throught the book and understand things better.
