  1. yes!  it included what looks to be a "good check" stating it is deducted from my winnings to pay the Canadian tax office my non-resident government service tax. I'm doing more research as I write this.


  2. No I haven't. Please be sure to read it closely.  If it is completely unexpected I would believe it is some kind of scam.  Check the link to see if it seems to be the same scam.
