Has anyone received any compensation for being made to learn ITA , Initial teaching alphabet as a child .?

I dont feel its fare that seven year olds were experimented on by the government.

  1. I agree with you. Luckily I was too old to have to learn it.

    My late Mother was teaching infants at the time. Her school introduced it, and she had to teach it, even though she hated it. She said although children read it OK, they couldn't make the transition into writing properly. Another fad that hit the skids, and children like you suffered.


  2. I think your question proves your point because your spelling and grammar are so poor.

    Before you start your campaign though, it might be worth remembering that in some parts of the world seven year old children are living through wars or working in sweat shops.

    By the way, what will you spend the money on? Nice car or a few holidays perhaps? It wont be on evening classes to make up for your "terrible" education I'm sure. Say "hi" to the rest of the scroungers for me.

  4. I think the ITA was a good idea. It may have been harder for you, but I don't think you necessarily need compensation for it, unless as a high school graduate you are completely illiterate!
