I filed my 1040X  and it took a almost 11 weeks to get the refund via check .. It is by paper check only on 1040x refunds

IRS takes 8-12 weeks to process the Form 1040X,the 8-12 weeks start  from the date IRS receives the Form 1040X not from the date you mailed it in.  If  you are expecting a refund it will be mailed to the address listed on your Form 1040X.

Contact IRS after 8 weeks to verify your 1040X was received and being processed.  1-800-829-1040.

If this is talking about the $300-600 per person Stimulus act funds, then most people that filed before the 15th of April should already have it.

Those who filed later may still be waiting on it.

Those who have not yet filed, or filed an extension, will not receive it until they have filed, if they qualify.

Yes, I just received mine yesterday.  It took almost eleven weeks.  You can check the IRS website at "Where's My Refund."  Make sure you have a copy of your 1040X before you begin.

If you are talking about a reFUND, it usually takes 8-12 weeks.  

Having filed an amendment will probably delay your stimulus check, depending on the timing of when your amendment was received.  It will most likely not change the amount, though.
