Has anyone recently been to the Med Taverna restaurant in Leith?

It received good ratings in the past in the local guides but has it now closed down?

I've not come across it to be honest but a good restuarant in Leith is Mya - is both Indian and Thai so has a varied menu so good if you cant decide what you want. The food is great and the service quick and friendly - would heartily recommend it. It's on Commercial Quay.

Have also heard Daniel's, which is next door, is very good but havent been myself - is Alsatian cooking I think.

Otherwise Skipper's and Fisher's great for fish

No but I'll tell you where is really good - Starters Anonymous.  Great food and great to share and it's all starters (of epic proportions in some cases).  That's in Leith too.
