  1. Sounds as if it could be a scam. Just reply and tell them to put your cheque in the post, if they ask for money to execute tell them to bog off.

  2. Sounds very dubious.  Is the email address a 'free' one available via Yahoo or Hotmail, by chance?

  3. nop but then i dont open that type of email as can bug your system plus is almost certainly a scam

  4. It's probably a scam. Ignore. You would never hear about an inheritance by email.

Edit - there are at least three other questions asking exactly this which means it is an absolute certainty it is a scam.

  5. This is a scam. Do not answer this mail no matter what

  6. You are being 'scammed'.  Go to a website called Data Wales and check it out.  They have the low-down on all the latest e-mail scams.

Edit: Snookler above is right.  If you had an inheritance coming your way, you'd be contacted by the lawyer acting on behalf of the deceased.

  7. yes, they are sending me a small inheretance that I was unaware of, I have sent them some money to release the funds and am now awaiting a cheque
