I did... takes forever... took me 4 years of immigration etc. to become a landed immigrant.   Everything I went through was so worth it.  I would never go back to England.  I still miss my family, but the standard of living here is just so much better.  Life styles, quality of life etc.  Nicer housing, better money, not too much rain.. warm summers.  Whenever I have visitors come from UK they always say they wish they had done what I did back then.

I know it is not easy to get here, but I did it under the domestic program, (I was a Nanny for 4 years.)  It is harder to get into Quebec than other provinces unless you speak french..... but go for it, you wont regret it.
