Has anyone run a marathon before?

Ok I want to run my first marathon and I have never run a maratho before, I have actually never run any sort of race. I really need someone with past experience to help me. If you are interested in helping me get ready and train and what not (via email) please let me know

I ran the SF Marathon last week and the CIM (my first one) in December. I have a few tips and a good training schedule so look out for my email.

I haven't before... but I'm currently training for one also. One of my good friends has run a few marathons (won one) and half marathons, and she's the one that's helping me out.

I've run three.A marathon should not be your first race.You should start with something smaller.

sure have its an experience yo will never forget     but on a practical note  i wll offer you some advice  run a smaller race  as a build up 4  a couple of reasons  1 you don't want to turn up for the marathon and have no idea what to expect and secondary  you will need to know how to run  with 10000  + other runners = other smaller things
