  1. Go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Reviews" and you will find reviews from pros and from past passengers.  You might also be interested in the "Boards" section.

    Have a great cruise!

  2. I went on Crown Princess Christmas week. It was nice. I went to Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada, St. Thomas, and St. Kitts. The weather was fine. The only thing I didn't like was that you would have to pay for soft drinks, and sodas. If you buy a soda card it's like $30, and it's unlimited soda.

The only free drinks on the cruise is water, tea, iced tea (unsweetened), and coffee. Orange juice and cranberry juice was offered in the morning for breakfast.

Ice Cream you had to pay for on the boat. I didn't get any.

I enjoyed going in cafe Carib, because it was a buffet, and most nights the food was tasty. The desserts were usually good, and I liked how they had food in the early hours of the morning.

The only thing I disliked was the fact I had to pay for soda (I did purchase the soda card), and that in Bonaire, the ship was leaving at 1pm. I wanted to get a look at the island. It seemed very nice in town. I also disliked that they wouldn't allow you to bring bottled liquor in the room. But there are ways to get around it.

There are some restaurants you have to pay for on the boat. It's about 2 or 3 of them there is a charge. The rest of them are free.

My favorite islands were Aruba, and St. Kitts.

There is always something to do on the boat.  You can't never get bored.

Although I didn't really do this, I happened to pass by movie under the stars.  It seems pretty at ease.  People are watching movies on a big screen outside in lounge chairs.  Pretty cool. There are also shows every night, so there is no way you can be bored.

  3. I sailed on the Crown in September of 07. She is a huge relatively new ship. We sailed the New England Coast from New York up to Canada. This was our fifth cruise on Princess in four years. So that in itself should be a vote of confidence.

Everything about the ship is fantastic from the food to the shows. One thing that you will enjoy is Movies under the Stars, always a big hit with my wife and I. There is never a dull moment, with somthing to do 24 hours a day.

If you don't have a good time I assure you it was not due to the ship it is fantastic.
