Has anyone sailed the brig Unicorn excursion on St.Lucia?

I am sailing with carnival and wanted to know if it's worth the $$, I have 3 children ..15,13 and 11. Any comments are greatly appreciated

Go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards", then "Ports of Call", then "St. Lucia".  You can then either do a search or just browse.  You'll find lots of opinions about the different excursions and things to do in all of your ports.  If you don't see anything about this particular excursion, you can post a question.  To post a question, you'll have to join CC, but it's free.

Worth the money will depend on what you are looking for. Our sail on the Unicorn was one of the loveliest and most peaceful days we've ever spent on vacation, watching the beautiful coastline glide by at sailing speeds, watching the sails, listening to the wind. That may be perfect for you, or it may bore the kids out of their minds. You could try the Pirate Cruise, but the kids may be too old for that - your call.

The middle part of the trip, the time in Soufrieres, was interesting, but not unforgettable. The time spent sailing was the part to remember. We'd do it again in a second, but everyone is different.
