  3. "Lacrymosa" by Evanescence uses a segment from Motzart's "Dies Irae sequence." called "Lacrimosa" which is from his "Requiem Mass" piece.

    I am not certain if Elfman used this same sequence some point in his music for Edward Scissorhands. I'd have to listen to the orchestration again. It is very possible though as that sequence of his music is quite popular.

    Note: Evanescence's "Lacrymosa" was actually written for "The Chronicles of Narnia..." It was just never included.
