  1. Never have seen a duck in a tree but have seen lots of types of other birds

  2. Yes, there are a couple that live in trees in our local park.   The female laid her eggs in the tree and we were lucky enough to see her taking her ducklings to the canal for their first swim!!  Very funny seeing them jumping off the branch into the water - wondered for ages how they got back to the nest afterwards - but they were in the tree again later in the day so they managed somehow.

  3. only wood ducks in trees but I imagine a regular sized duck could get into large very low branches of a short tree or one that was downed

  4. i saw woodducks in my oak tree but i saw  a duck on my roof ,

  5. not really

    can they?

  6. nope, but i saw one fly into one.

  7. no but one used to sit on my car

  8. Webbed feet make perching difficult.

  9. No never in my life

  10. No i haven't seen it BUT muscovy ducks are well known for flying into trees to ( perch at night) and escape predators

(the wild muscovies that is )

although when i bred muscovies they used to have a go at perching in the trees at night time .. i stopped them though of course . .  they had there own house.
