Yes, there was this thing that got out of my bed this morning, went down stairs and put on a mask to make it look like a human being. I went to bed with a female and woke up with a monster. Still, that's married life for yer.

Probably not.  The phenomenon of people "seeing" strange beings or monsters has been with us as long as history can remember.  ET aliens are only the most recent iteration of this kind of widespread delusion.  If anyone ever has had contact with an alien, it would be impossible to distinguish from the mountains of false claims unless the person had convincing evidence.

There is no reason to believe that we have ever been visited by aliens.  There are several reasons to believe we haven't -- at least not in recent history.

I've seen lots of aliens.  I do a lot of traveling, so each time I return home, a lot of the people in the airport are aliens.

The fictional type from outer space?  No, they are imaginary, never seen those.  I try to keep my medication levels such that I don't hallucinate.
