In the US, some fencing events were aired by NBC on five broadcast and cable channels. There is much more extensive coverage still on-line at http://www.nbcolympics.com/ where you can view entire events, features, background and trivia.

Yes they did have a few throws to the Fencing - it was on SBS that I watched the most and it was late, anyhow I think it is all over now. I agree though they have not shown much of the more obscure sports, I like to watch the Synchronised swimming but no such luck especially with channel 7 being the broadcaster - hope it's better in 2016 !

the USA won two gold medals. It was one of the first days.
