Has anyone seen les mis matinee- is it as good?

If you have seen it (london) would you say the matinee performance has as good an atmosphere as the evening or would you recommend waiting for the evening?

Is it true you get a lot of the understudies in matinee or is it the same cast as evening?

ive been 2 see it as a matinee and on the evening (my sis is in the theatre - on stage) and the atmosphere is just as good in the afternoon and it is the same cast - if the main cast are not on in the matinee it usually means they are ill or something and will not be on in the evening either

It doesn't matter whether you go for a Matinee or an Evening performance, the atmosphere is AMAZING. No, you don't usually get understudies in the afternoon. I've seen Les Mis 3 times in the Queen's Theatre, Go for it!
