Has anyone seen wild black panthers in texas woods

i want to hear the cries of the animal that lerks in the woods like a panther or bob cat

I haven't seen one in the field, but there was a show on the History Channel about a month ago about black panthers in the US, and Texas was one of the locations they covered in some detail. Many of their shows are available on DVD, so with a little research on their website, you can probably come up with a copy of that show.
