Has anyone shopped at the Aldi grocery store?

If so what did you think of it? They just opened one in my town and I am leary for the off brands. I would love someones opinion who has shopped there before.

I have been shopping in Aldi stores for years and love it ,prices are great and food tastes same as brand name but half the cost, my doughtier loves their chocolate soy milk, and I like the prices . Don't be too hung up on the idea of brand name items , it is a hang up that profits only the manufacturers not you .They (Aldi) also have double quality guarantee , so far (10 years) I did not have to use this . Cashiers are very friendly and after a while you get to know them and it is like going to an old fashion mom and pop store but with better inventory. Give it a try you will be pleasantly surprised .

Beside giant eagle I love that store. Aldis is cheap but great food. All the stores are clean and the cashiers are very friendly. If I were you, I would definately try it out.

garbage....meats are fatty and gross....Store is good for TP and Paper towels

i shopped there didnt buy any thing cause of the off brands but i know other people who do and they buy everthing except meats ,and dairy well you never know until you try good luck

I shop there more than any other grocery store. The meats are fine (the ground frozen turkey is 99 cents and tastes just as good as any other). Their chicken is very moist and inexpensive ($5.49 for 5 big b*****s). Their dairy is fine as well as the fruits and vegetables. With these you have to watch with your store though. Some don't pay enough attention to sticker dates. BUT! They are cheaper and taste just as good as any other store. Aldi's saves you mounds of dollars and their off brands taste just as good as brand names. Of course you're going to have some that taste different (like their dorito off brand) but the majority is fantastic. I definitely suggest buying their if you have a low grocery budget.

yes i have, it is one of the most cheap grocery stores you can find, that also has almost everything you need. yes, the labels arent name brand, but hey, they taste exactly the same. try the store out, i think you'd like it
