  1. well I sold avon once and it only cost me a few hundred dollars. I wasnt good at it. it was too much fun having all the make up and cool stuff. lol but if your the sales person type go for it. I just loved the stuff too much.

  2. Don't get involved. You have to push products on your friends and relatives. In the end you will have no friends because they will be sick of you. You can only successful if you push people into buying products. Your goal will be to recruit your own sales people and earn commisson off their sales.

  3. I am a new consultant and have only done 3 skin care classes, but I am averaging $50/hr (I am not good at sales but my Director seems to average hundreds of dollars per hour--she was #7 in Canada in 2007).  Honestly it was so scary stepping out of my comfort zone, but in the end we all had a lot of laughs and good fun.  I think you get back what you put in.  Work hard and you make more money, slack off a bit and the income peters out.  If you'd like to come to a orientation meeting and you live in the Lowermainland please contact me via www.marykay.ca/mboyle

  4. Yes, I do Mary Kay I started 4 years ago for the product discount and LOVE it so much I started selling it.  I was able to leave my full time job of 7 years at a large financial institution.  I am very happy that I decided to spend the $100 to see if it was for me.
