I used to sell vintage stuffs at Yahoo Singapore Auction n was just about to starting some handmade lucite charms mobiles two months back when I realised that it broke down. I registered with 99auction n also prepared a listing. However, was trying to upload a picture when the screen 'too big'. I tried to save my draft as i had taken quite a while to prepare but the whole listing just disappeared. I got too lazy to type all over again. Would appreciate if someone can share with me how the sales is going on there. Are they any other free auction or shopping sites like Singapore Yahoo Auction that most Singporeans know of? I think the Yahoo Auction will close down eventually. Maybe there wasn't a glitch. They just want to close it down n have to first get the sellers to leave on their own accords.

  1. So far the sales there are ok.  All depending on your selling price & products.  I sold some of my son's books and some DVDs there.  I noted that the 2 founders and some ex Yahoo sellers are selling even faster because they have their yahoo rating scores added.  No harm to list there as they are totally free of charge.  Ebay is good for Overseas sales only.

  2. i'd like to vote for http://www.cannla.com - i've sold a few items on there. i tend to sell around 1 item a week which is ok for targeting singaporeans only. i tried cute4ever and http://chupr.com.sg and didn't get any bites. http://99auction has a lot of spam which is annoying.

  3. In regards to the image uploading -

Most sites will resize your images for you. But if not you can use a 3rd party image hosting site such as flickr.com or imagehost.com

  4. We run a great Singapore auction site called Cannla ( http://www.cannla.com )

With over 8,000 items for sale we are growing fast and it's free. Hope this helps!

Other sites include ebay.com.sg which is probably the biggest site.

  5. Have tried it and the site is always buggy... I'm using chupr.com instead :)

  6. probably you can try  Cute4ever.com    others include ebay, merlion, chupr & 99auction.

  7. try this one, www.uniqueauction.com

  8. Currently the best online auction in Singapore is Cute4ever.com. It even allows you to import exiting Yahoo Auction account.

  9. There are plenty of other auction sites in Singapore. One site that looks great is Cute4ever.com.
