Has anyone stayed at "Da House Hotel" in Old San Juan? Or has any reviews about it? PLEASE !?

It's located at the top of a place called "Nuyorican Cafe" and it seems quite simple and cheap but in the heart of Old San Juan... which is ALL GOOD. But I wanted to know if anyone had some additional information or any personal reviews and/or experiences about the place, since I'm thinking about spending some nights over there. Please can anyone help me! =o)

I had been thinking about staying there too, since it is very affordable, but they don't offer a lot of amenities. There are a few reviews and pics of that hotel on tripadvisor.com. Also tripadvisor San Juan forums are very active, you could ask there.

I stayed there a couple of times, the only drawbacks that I can think of are the lack of an elevator and it can be a little noisy because of the proximity of the Nuyorican Cafe, other than that is the best bet you can find in Old San Juan.
