Has anyone stayed at the Dreams resort?

We are looking into staying at the two story suite with a private pool. We wondering if it was worth the money.

A friend's sis and b-i-l stayed at Dreams last year, full AI. They said the place, food, service were all the best they could envision. They have traveled a lot and said it ranked right near the top! A couple drawbacks:

Since all food is included in price, it cuts down on exploring all the fascinating restaurants in town with cuisines from French to Italian to German to Japanese to Mexican.

Two, guests must pay a day pass 11am-11pm. It is aound $65 per person for the day but they can eat and act like they are staying there. To meet her in the lobby we were given 5 minutes or else they would escort us out. It is very strict but many people like that.

You may wish to stay there once and see if it is your liking. My friends said they would not return,not because of quality but the limits and location south of town needing a car or take buses daily. Let us know what you think. It is truly lovely there.

Dreams is beautiful. I suggest going to  tripadvisor.com and search  Puerta Vallarta Forums and see what other's are saying, it is a long way out of town.  I do prefer the Sheraton.

Oh and read the reviews for Dreams on there also.

I never stayed at the Dreams Resort in Puerto Vallarta. We spend 10 days at Dreams Cancun in their tower rooms and had a wonderful time. The food, staff and beach was wonderful. I highly recommend Dreams Cancun.
