I leaving for Cancun next week and have been researching the hotel I will be staying at...and it doesn't look good!! I have read mixed reviews, but am looking for anyone who has stayed there recently. I am not a picky traveler, just looking forward to sun and relaxation. Any good clubs/restauants nearby that are worth visiting?Any thoughts or advice would help.

Thanks!

  1. The Grand Oasis Playa is a great place. Call 1-888-862-3806 these people do all of our trips, tours, everything for my family and my company. Ask for Robert or Allen.

  2. Grand Oasis Playa is a very nice place and is Adult Only, minimum age of anybody staying there is 23, but don't think it is an old peoples Hotel it is fun.

I have stayed in almost all of the Oasis Resorts, and really don't have a bad word to say about any of them, you'll have a wonderful stay there.

Good thing with the Oasis Resorts, is that you can use the facilities in the others too, if you speak to the Concierge, and they are all worth a visit.

There is a Bus stop right at the road outside the Hotel, and buses are 24 hours, so it's not difficult to get from your Hotel to the Party Zone at KM9.

Coco Bongo, Senor Frog's, The City (especially Tuesday night Beach party), Partyopolis Ticket with DadyO group and the Cancun Party Hopper (9pm from the Congo Bar) are all the Top Nights Out.

Try Hooters Cancun, Rocking Wings, available from the waitresses for only $60.00 USD.. which includes all you can eat wings & fries with Ice tea/soda, with an open Bar ticket for Congo Bar, and then Coco Bongo.

Like a nice day out sailing & snorkelling, then try www.cancuncatamarans.com I went on a trip with them and it was fantastic.

If you want to do the Chichen Itza Ruins, I would advise to book with Grayline Cancun and get the All Inclusive package.

There are plenty of things to keep you entertained.

    Hope this helps.
