Has anyone stayed at the JW Marriott Cancun? Do you recommend it?

We're planning to go to Cancun the second week of July. Can someone please tell me if it's too crowded around this time? Is it very hot?

JW Marriott is a gorgeous hotel and great location. There are plenty of lounge chairs, good beds, good showers with plenty of hot water and very clean. Professional staff. The only con is food is expensive. Don't drink the bottle of water in your room, the cost $9.00 a bottle. Buy at local  store for $2.00 a bottle. Make sure you use the hotel safe for valuables.

The temps in July on the average will be around 91 degrees, the low average around 75.  You may get some rain but you are in the tropics and it will pass fast.Check this site for previous weather history.

any marriotts would be great whereever you are. cancun isnt that crowded during july IT ISSS HOT!

I lived in Cancun and worked infront of that hotel in the parasailing and eveybody seemed quite pleased with it...the beach can be a little rough on that side but it is breath taking.

JW Marriott is beautiful with great Marriott service! It is expensive but I believe you do get what you pay for.

Hot, yes July and August are the hottest months with very high humidity however you will have an ocean and a beautiful pool to keep you cool and there is generally a 3 mph breeze for the beautiful Caribbean.
