Has anyone stayed at the Presidente Intercontinental Resort in Cabo San Lucas? What did you think about it?

Hola.  I live about 3 blocks away from the Presidente.  I have been there many times over the years.  It is one of the older resorts in SJD but it is nice and well kept. The food is great, there is a really nice Italian restaurant there.  The town is really close, walking distance of 5 minutes.  It is also right on our town Estuary, so you can spot birds, and other wildlife.  The beach it is located on is called Costa Azul and it goes for miles, lots of people like to walk it.  The swimming can be dangerous some days, because of the rip tide and large waves, but at this time of year, it isn't bad.  They will tell you if you can swim or not at the resort.  The pools at the resort make up for the ocean, they are beautiful.  

I think you will be really happy if you were looking for a quiet, peaceful, nice holiday.

p.s. The Presidente is NOT located in the town of Cabo San Lucas.  It is located in the town of San Jose del Cabo which is 20 minutes away, but closer to the airport.  Just so you are aware.

Hello there,

The Presidente is a beautiful hotel. The food is really good too. All the hotels are located on one main strip and not on a swimmable beach.
