Has anyone stayed at the Tropicana hotel in athens, greece?

If you mean Tropical hotel on Posidonos Avenue i can tell you that was renovated just before 1-2 years and now looks very nice. The only bad i could mention is the location, some of the rooms looks on the avenue but from the other hand you could have a room with sea view.

Are you sure that the name of the hotel is Tropicana? I knwo a hotel in Athens called Tropical.
