  1. Yes really nice hotel, food was good if you're not picky, if you got the all inclusive deal, drinks and food are free 24 hrs pretty much.  Beautiful beach, i didnt golf, but there was a golf course.  Take the bus, xel-ha and xcaret are really nice places to visit, ATV riding was fun.  Go to clubs/bars with the hotel (they have scheduled days that they go) because then you will have a table.  I've been to cancun 3 times and oasis was the place we had the most fun.  ps i went when i was 20.

  2. I stayed there back in 2006.  It's pretty nice but the food is NOT all that good.  Don't drink the water and be sure to check out Cocco Bongo Night Club.  ITS SO FUN! Take the bus everywhere you go because its cheap and easy.  Cab drivers will cheat you out of your money if you dont know how to spend it.  Be sure to change your american dollars into their currency otherwise u will cheat yourself.  Be sure to visit the Flea Market but be careful because everyone is going to try and sell you drugs! LOL or at least they did to us.  The room itself was really really nice and I was quite suprised as to how clean it was.  Other than that have fun and dont 4get to visit Coco Bongo! You WILL regret it if you dont! Night life is Crazy there!

  3. Sure. the best tip is this: We found the Vacation experts. We use them to do everything in Mexico and Cancun. Rob and Al at

    http://www.cancuncatamarans.com

    http://www.hotel-mx.com

you can call them in Cancun at 1-888-862-3806 anytime, even if you only have a question they will help you.

Have a good time in Mexico.

  4. The Grand Oasis was great, we stayed in an Ocean View room, and had the ground floor and could almost walk out into the Ocean. The Sunrise is spectacular.

There is a really wide choice of restaurants, and you will be given a list of these when you check in, along with the timings and anything else that you need to know, like whether you need to book or not.

Go to http://www.flickr.com and do a search for Grand Oasis, there are lots of pictures of the Hotel on there.

The golf course is only small, and if you actually want an 18 hole course you should go to Pok ta Pok or the Hilton.

You should try the Party Hopper which now have 2 different tours, costing $65.00 USD per person for open bar and express entry into all of the clubs that you visit.

Xcaret and Chichen Itza are two tours that I would highly recommend and a trip on the Catamarans with http://www.cancuncatamarans.com is an excellent trip, with open bar, buffet lunch and snorkelling.

    Hope this helps
