  1. Nope, there's nothing better than sitting on the kitchen floor with a newspaper and a bowl of cereal in the morning - its just not the same on the computer.

  2. I stopped buying them long time ago when I had to start collecting them for the recycle bin.  I didn't want another bin to take out to the garbage.

  3. I still prefer an ordinary newspaper to read. So, have them delivered. Read some of the others online though.

  4. Yes.  I have stopped buying my 'Local rag' since I have been able to read it online.

It saves me £23.40 a year.

  5. i quit my home town paper they wouldn't send it to me because i lived out of state. i live in kc.ks. and my brother lives in kc,mo about 6 miles from me and they still send it to him. it still cost the same amount to send it to him. life is so good.i really enjoyed it to.

  6. Yes.

I had the local paper come round trying to sell their paper and be delivered to me.

I said why should I pay when its free online?

    No reply.

  7. read them on-line monday-friday and buy one at weekends.

  8. Yes I stopped buying our local paper trying to cut back. It saved me $13 a month and I read it on line. I'm not trying to be cheap, I'm just poor.

  9. No. I like to read newspapers. In bed

  10. I have to read them on line as its impossible to buy English daily papers where I live but its not quite the same as the real thing. On line papers only give you a small portion from the whole paper.

  11. yeah. i used to buy one every morning. not any more though.

  12. No, I still get my daily paper because I like to read it over the course of the day (or week), and there's just something satisfying about reading the real paper - to go straight to the sections I want. Plus, I have to sit in front of a computer to work, so it's nice to NOT have to read the newspaper online.

However, I do read many other newspapers online - mainly the news, editorial and occasionally the arts sections - in out-of-town papers, the London Times, BBC News, etc. - amazing what a breadth of news we can now receive! BBC News has a daily feature - The Day in Pictures - that is just terrific. Fabulous shots taken all over the world.
