Has anyone succesfully appealed their A level results and got a higher grade?

i received my A level results yesterday and i don't believe that my results for Fine Art and Graphic design reflect the work i did. i know that art subjects such as graphics photography and art are marked by the college tutors at A level, and i want my work checked over by a moderator and regraded. i'm currently filling out the necessary forms.

i'm planning to appeal my grade and was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?

thanks alot.

  1. I know how you feel. I got an E on one unit exam in French which brought my overall grade down to a C, and I'm gutted. I'm now debating whether to get it re-marked or to just accept it.

  2. You mean  you didn't get an A?  You must be the only person in the country!

  3. Yeah there have been plenty of cases i have seen in school with GCSE and they get a remark. Some were on a borderline of a B/A. They got it remarked and they got an A.

So i would think about getting some remarked if your not 100% happy.

It might not be free though. Here in the UK in some schools its quite expensive to get it remarked.
