Has anyone switched their electricity delivery to Energy Plus Company?

Some time ago electrical utilities were deregulated such that a consumer can chose different energy supply companies while maintaining their local utility company for service. Has anyone actually switched and if so, what was your experience (especially interested if you switched to Energy Plus Company). They claim to get you better rates that your fixed price electrical utility provider and if you are in New York they also claim that you will qualifying to have the New York sales tax permanently waived off of the delivery portion of the monthly bill. This almost sounds too good to be true, so before I seriously consider the switch I'd be interested in hearing if anyone has had experience with this.

It went suprisingly well. My local utility had a temporary blackout but since I was with Energy Plus id didn't affect me.
