I was thinking about taking a trip on the Carnival Legend and when looking at rooms, the symbol legend (no pun intended) has a dot on some of the rooms marked "One Upper" Does anyone know what this room is like? Does that mean bunk type beds or is there a regular bed and a bunk or what? Not very good descriptions on the website I noticed.

  1. It means there are two single beds [which usually can be made into a queen] plus one single bunk that comes down from the ceiling, if needed.

  2. The "upper" is a Pullman bed that is operated by the cabin steward.

It is a very small bed so I would not recommend for a very tall or large person or a person that has back problems or problems climbing a bunk bed ladder.
