Has anyone taken the Dave Ramsey/Lampo Group counselor training?

Question

It costs almost $4000 to get the "For Profit Certified" certification. I'm just wondering if it's worth it. This field appeals to me, but I don't want to shuck out that kind of money if it doesn't end up being profitable and if I'm going to need extra licenses, training, etc. to start up a business.

Any input here?

Well, I was wondering the same thing. I took the FPU course and learned a lot. I have since gone ahead and started to put my own info together to help people. Dave needs a payment plan let me know what you figure out. I don't know how valid the certification would be in that field, I haven't actually found anyone that has done it.
