Has anyone taken the Holland America cruise down (or up) the St. Lawrence river?

The cruise hits Montreal, Quebec City, Charlottetown PEI, Sydney Nova Scotia, Halifax, Ben Harbor Maine, and Boston. I was attracted to the trip because of the destinations, and also I saw a special on the travel channel.

The main destinations I am interested in are Montreal & Quebec City. Are the other destinations worth going to, or should I not take a cruise and just go to the two locations? Is the ship nice / do you spend much time on it? Any other recommendations for me? Thanks.

My wife and I did a St. Lawrence cruise on the Nantucket Clipper,  and we would repeat it again tomorrow...   We looked into the large ships and have preferred the small ones.  

Montreal was a lot of fun, but I would like to go back to Quebec again, if I did my cruise again, I would book a couple days at the Frontenac Hotel at the beginning or end.  It looks like the cruise we took is now offered by the Great Lakes Cruise Company.

I found the online cruise forums, like cruisemates.com to be very helpful with planning.
